Epicycloids and Stringballs are functional: the position, speed and relative distance of the balls can be used as organic and playful ways to control musical parameters. Cubist Candle was made from a simple low-resolution video of a burning candle. Featherwater River and For the Third Ear reflect my interest in microtonal tunings. The first piece got its title from the work of Chuang-Tzu. Both, as well as Drops of Wonder, are ventures into pure sound synthesis (while hitherto I relied on (processed) samples as my sound sources).
